Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I wrote a guest post for my friend Bernadette this week! She’s the owner of Rants From My Crazy Kitchen and her recipes are fabulously delicious. She was looking for some blogger friends to guest post throughout the summer and, even though I no longer write about food, I really wanted to contribute. Helping a friend out, you know? I had originally planned to share the recipe included with the Garden Safari Vegetable Soup review I posted last Friday, but Joshua and I just couldn’t get it together. (Crazy toddlers always wanting to do different things!) I still wanted to share a recipe so instead I chose to share the most-requested recipe I have on my personal Facebook page, which is for my no-tomato minestrone soup! I know what you’re thinking — it’s summertime! It’s 90* in the shade, who wants to eat soup?! That may be true, but it’s also true that farm markets are now opening all over the country and this is literally the best time to get the freshest produce available! Of course, you’ll need to stop at the grocery store for a few things — broth (unless you make your own from scratch), beans, and pasta among them — but for the most part, this is a straight-from-the-earth kind of soup. It’s both hearty and healthy, and I hope you’ll try it and love it as much as we do!
Many thanks to Bernadette for allowing me to take over her blog! Happy Reading and Happy Eating!
